UFC Cuts The Ultimate Fighter Winner Bryan Battle After Weight Cut Issues

The UFC has released Season 29 TUF winner Battle after he missed weight for a third time ahead of UFC 319 in Chicago, scrapping his welterweight fight with Nursulton Ruziboev. Battle, 30, went 7-1 (1 NC) in the UFC, also earning two performance bonuses, but repeated weight issues ultimately cost him his roster spot. He was released despite riding a two-fight win streak.
